Bio
Big Mickey is a stand up comedian based out of Memphis, TN.
She started as a comedian at just fifteen years old acting on hit TV shows (The Bernie Mac Show & Everybody Hates Chris) as well as national TV commercials. Big Mickey’s comedic lens mixes personal storytelling and observations from being an openly gay black female whose mother still tries to slip ladies clothing into her wardrobe.
Big Mickey’s comedy bridges the divide between looking like the bad guy while in reality being too afraid to take out the trash. Her standup exposes the polarity of modern society and southern values through the use of satire, making her a favorite among comedy clubs and festivals - having performed with comedy legends across the country.
